I currently provide individual therapy for adults navigating a variety of emotional, relational, and life challenges. Therapy is tailored to your individual experiences, needs, and goals, with an emphasis on developing greater understanding and compassion for yourself.
Areas I commonly work with include:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Depression
Life transitions and adjustment
Identity exploration
Women’s issues
Processing traumatic or distressing experiences
Emotional awareness and regulation
Relationship patterns and boundaries
Personal growth and self-understanding
My work is primarily informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS). IFS gives us a framework for becoming curious about the different “parts” of ourselves that have developed in response to stress, relationships, difficult experiences, and the need to protect ourselves. Rather than judging or trying to eliminate these parts, we work toward understanding what they are communicating and what they may need.
I also incorporate Somatic Therapy to help you become more attuned to what is happening in your body. Our bodies can provide important information about safety, stress, emotions, and our needs—sometimes before we are able to consciously make sense of what we are experiencing. Learning to notice these signals can create another pathway toward greater self-awareness and healing.
I am currently offering telehealth appointments only. I plan to resume offering in-person appointments after the new year, with additional information about availability and location to come.
